Height Safety Engineers will be holding a training course in low voltage rescue and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) at our Melbourne training centre in October.
This course teaches the skills to perform a rescue from a live, low voltage (LV) apparatus and then perform CPR until additional medical support arrives.
Please note this course does not cover rescue from overheard electrical transmission lines or underground cables that carry higher voltage electricity.
Our low voltage rescue and CPR training course will cover identifying hazards, electrical isolation procedures, safe approaches to a live electrical panel, assessment of the casualty, performing CPR and more.
This course designed for anybody working around live, low-voltage electrical apparatus who may be required to respond and remove a person from a live panel in an emergency.
