Height Safety Engineers will be running fire extinguisher training during February 2020 in Melbourne.
Fire Extinguisher Training introduces participants to a variety of portable fire fighting equipment that is commonly found in work environments. It also covers the correct and safe methods of handling and using fire extinguishers, fire hose reels and fire blankets.
Participants will also learn about the different types of fires they may come across and how to classify them, the types of fire extinguishers available and their correct use as well as use of hose reels and blankets. The course also teaches safety procedures to follow when fighting fires as well as fire fighting tactics.
Both theoretical and practical components make up the training session. This ensures participants gain hands-on experience using fire fighting equipment under careful instruction from experienced emergency services training specialists.
