Training course dates for the general public are available for Height Safety Engineers’s (RTO 91227) confined space training course this December.
The confined space training course is the ideal introductory course for workers that will be required to perform their roles in and around confined spaces.
Participants in confined space training will learn about the hazards associated with working in confined spaces, key legislation governing high-risk work, duties of a standby person, how to gas test atmospheres, working with permits to enter as well as the various use and limitations of personal protective equipment (PPE) required when working in and around confined spaces.
This course will also teach the correct use of confined space entry equipment such as tripods, davits, personal winches, RPDs, spreader bars, retrieval SRLs and full body harnesses as well as how to perform risk assessments and implement control measures as part of any work involving the risk of injury.

Wednesday 4 to Thursday 5 December – 8.00am to 4.00pm (two days)
